Trainees are required to take an RCR in the first year and an RCR refresher course in the fourth year of study and but will only receive 1 credit toward the BTP minor.

3. BTP Seminar (BIOCHEM 932, Fall & Spring, 1 credit) — Semester(s) and Year(s) taken:

Trainees are required to attend BTP Seminar during BTP funded years (4 semesters), but will only receive 1 credit toward the BTP minor.

4. Rigorous and reproducible research course

Trainees are required to take a course on ways to carry out rigorous and reproducible research. This course may overlap with a course taken for the BTP minor.
